We are seeking a talented, self-directed Front End Engineer to design and build engaging, personalized customer experiences across the AWS websites. The AWS Website team is responsible for the delivery of targeted content to customers and prospects across the AWS websites.

You will be a key member of this team and will create new functionalities, as well as explore and implement leading-edge UI technologies. You will be leading the implementation of web analytics tracking and search engine optimization techniques. This role offers wide scope, autonomy and ownership. You'll have a seat at the table and will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture, feature development and product strategy. We have an ambitious mission that requires an engineer with great judgment and a track record of building great customer experiences.

The ideal candidate should have deep end-to-end web application knowledge, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have experience optimizing client-side performance, and mobile development experience. The candidate should be willing to take on challenging initiatives, plus be capable of working both independently and with others, as a team.
