Job Description

Location:

Secaucus, New JerseyJob Summary:Front End Developer - Web Creative is a position that builds web page prototypes based on design concepts by the creative/Ecomm Ops/Product/Marketing. The prototypes are to aid in the full customer journey visualization of site experiences by building pages in HTML which may require levels of user interaction and animation.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

* Work directly with Designers to develop and build responsive web pages from approved creative files (Photoshop, XD, or Sketch) into fully realized HTML/CSS experiences.
* Create wireframes for experiences for pre-build review and approvals.
* Gather and prepare assets from Photoshop, XD or other digital mediums for use in building highly accurate web pages.
* Create and maintain a digital brand guide for internal teams and external vendors to align brand across all digital channels/touchpoints.
* Troubleshoot and visualize code/software limitations and articulate solutions back to the design team.
* Communicate design aesthetics/principles and prototypes to developers.
* Ensuring technical feasibility of all UI/UX designs. Inform experience design through a technical lens.
* Develop high quality, maintainable code that scales well and can be re-used in various contexts.

Education and Experience:

* Years of hands on experience coding web pages. Versed in the following software languages HTML,Javascript, and CSS. Understand how to interpret and use Google Analytics, Google Optimize, and Optimizely. Expert knowledge of working in Adobe Creative Suite especially in Photoshop and XD. BA or equivalent certification in Design, Art or Computer Science

* Ability to translate design concepts into coded, pixel-perfect, web pages.
* Understanding of design principles and code/application limitations, including back-end limitations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to fluently articulate/present work to internal and external teams, including IT and other development partners.
* Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Problem-solving aptitude with an analytical mind.
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite, Sketch and Zeplin.
* Proficient understanding of CSS, HTML, Java, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
