Job Description

We are currently seeking a Front-End Developer for a long term contracting position located in Washington, DC. Candidates MUST be a US Citizen.

This role requires someone with proven experience in developing web applications using frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular. Specific responsibilities include designing and coding web application front-ends in coordination with UX designers and middle tier programmers. Additionally, work products must be developed in accordance with the Board IT's System Development Methodology and web application best practices.

This position has a US citizenship and Bachelor's degree requirement.

Location: Washington DC

Required Skills

* Strong HTML, CSS, and JS skills
* Experience developing web applications in Angular
* Experience using front-end design frameworks (Bootstrap, Skeleton, etc.)
* Experience creating accessible components and websites
* Advocates for best practices related to user experience, and accessibility

Preferred Skills

* Experience creating or maintaining a design system
* Ability to translate high fidelity mockups in to interactive prototypes
* Familiarity with UX research and design processes

About the Project:

The candidate will be working onsite (8 hours per day or 40 hours per week), working with an internal team of User Experience analysts.
