Position Description Overview

Interested in stopping fraud before it occurs? Join First Data's FirstSense Fraud Intelligence team to work with a highly collaborative team on a cutting-edge service that uses advanced analytics, dark web monitoring and financial transaction research to mitigate fraud. We have an opening for a qualified candidate with strong self-initiative and an interest in data analytics. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the full product life cycle of FirstSense to include data analytics, drafting and editing intelligence reports, fraud trend investigations and product development efforts.

Job Responsibilities

* Act as a fraud intelligence subject-matter-expert (SME) supporting assigned Financial Institutions (FIs) for the full product life cycle of FirstSense, to include report production, fraud investigations, Dark Web research, client briefings/touchpoints, plus other unique requirements
* Analyze large sets of data to develop new insights into potential fraudulent behavior
* Act as integral part of team ingesting new and existing sources of intelligence and examining them in the context of transaction and log data
* Perform primary source research to develop written products fulfilling ad-hoc and standing requirements for clients and the extended enterprise
* Exploit current accesses and develop new accesses to intelligence sources
* Coordinate client-facing consulting investigations, working with clients to scope and deliver analysis of fraud schemes and compromise events

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in information science, business administration, computer science, or security studies-related field
* 3 years experience in intelligence or information security environment focused on client service and delivery
* Familiarity with creating written and analytic products with a focus on addressing client feedback
* Familiarity with basic concepts of financial fraud, the financial ecosystem and cyber threat intelligence
* Prefer experience with R, PHP or Python
