Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Global Fraud Management and Security Teams are the guardians of customer trust for PlayStation and PSN. We provide innovative solutions to support every element of the platform, various platform services, customer service teams, a diverse developer community, and more.

The analyst within the Fraud Operations & Monitoring team performs the key fraud and payment analytics from a global perspective. This person is expected to have knowledge of fraud and also be an effective communicator and partner with stakeholders. This Analyst will help support regular communications with stakeholders on the state of areas GFM is responsible for within the organization.   

SIE is committed to building a next generation fraud and risk platform that will support the global, fast growing PlayStation® Network customer base, world class PlayStation® consoles, hand-held devices, PlayStation® TV, and network entertainment services such as PlayStation® Vue, PlayStation® Music, PlayStation® Video and PlayStation® Now. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting fraud and payment rule analytics
  • Adept at rule and model creation within a fast paced evolving environment.
  • Developing crisp and thought provoking analysis work on the state of GFM scope activities.
  • Responsible for communicating regular stakeholder representations of the state of fraud issues
  • Adept at understanding the sources of fraud
  • Capable of navigating and supporting compliance and risk processes
  • Comfortable in the sharing and discussions of threats and opportunities to our risk environment

  Qualifications:

  • Proven experience preparing complex analysis activities relating to Payments & Fraud.
  • An Understanding or Experience with FICO products (i.e. Blaze, DMP, or Falcon)
  • Deep experience with payment fraud in eCommerce/Digital products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure environment.
  • Proven track record in tactical execution of requests or ad-hoc analysis
  • Comprehensive understanding of the payments industry, globally
  • Excellent communication, analysis and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of digital good industry a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in a high volume credit card merchant.
  • Deep knowledge with SQL. Big Data experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools like QlikView, Splunk, Angoss, etc..
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Willingness to get involved in the details and work on issues directly
