FPGA Developer (GT) Job Description

We are looking for curious, creative and motivated people who have a passion for developing possibilities into products. If you are a looking for a place to spread your wings, join Platform Power and Performance Engineering (PTPE) as a FPGA Developer where you'll be challenged to

develop and integrate FPGA designs for FPGA platform power and performance trade-off analysis, and perform optimize power/thermal to meet desired performance. Based on what you uncover, you'll be influencing the development of new FPGA platform that will propel success in new markets like cloud services, communication, and edge computing. Must be able to lead teams, collaborate, build consensus, and influence

Qualifications

� Bachelor/Master on Electronic Engineering or equivalent

� Basic knowledge in FPGA, ASIC or SoC architecture design

� Experience in RTL design definition and implementation

� Verilog/VHDL/System Verilog coding experience

� Experienced in integration of FPGA designs, including synthesis, fitter and timing closure flows. Able to set constraints for synthesis, fitter and fix errors.

� Familiar with FPGA debug method and tools example Signal tap, region locks, other debug and methods to compile huge, complex designs into FPGA.

� Familiar with fundamental building blocks of FPGA (LAB, HBMs, Registers, LUTs) and how to juggle between them when FPGA resources are constraint.

� Able to document and design block diagrams given a problem statement

� Familiar with verification tools BFMs, UVM/OVM

� Exposure in power, thermal and performance tradeoffs
