OVERVIEW

Do you have previous FMS Program Management experience? Are you passionate about successful program execution? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts in supporting military and DoD operations.

You shall provide Project Management support to the International Programs & Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program office (AFLCMC/HBN), which is within the Digital Directorate (formally known as Battle Management Directorate) at Hanscom AFB, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a self-starter with expertise in the following:

* Providing Program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team leads by helping guide successful program execution to maintain the acquisition battle rhythm and deliver warfighter capability


* Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs


* Providing expert advice and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution for the program. Analyzes overall program health and advises program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule and performance objectives


* Reviewing acquisition documents and provides comments offering an executive level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines, Risk Management Plans, Program Management Reviews and Milestone Decision Briefs


* Effectively communicating orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)


* Supporting and developing acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.)


* Supporting Program Management Reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, IMP/IMS reviews, and cost/schedule reduction activities to include Agile software development


* Developing various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management



Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Working with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff


* Working with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel


* Developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s)


* Developing, reviewing, and approving plans, schedules, and other technical documentation


* Facilitating and supporting Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities


* Assisting as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections


* Performing other duties as required



REQUIREMENTS

* MA/MS degree and 15 years of experience in program management


* Previous DoD experience is required


* Knowledge of USAF Acquisition process is desired


* Strong written and interpersonal skills are essential to this position


* Use of MS office products


* Active Secret clearance is required
