DivisionDefense - E3/Sentinel's Defense Division supports customers across the Department of Defense, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Navy, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Inspector General, and Washington Headquarters Services. Position Overview

E3/Sentinel is looking to fill a DoD Financial Systems Architect for a DoD client. This position provides overarching Systems Architecture support for a Defense Agency's operation and sustainment of DoD Financial Systems, including Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and legacy business systems. Other Duties include:

Responsibilities

* Provide DAI sustainment support, including providing expertise with DAI individual modules, program planning, and support to training and fielding of the DAI system. • Assist with fit gap analysis and operational issues. Analysis of how Agency business is accomplished with DAI, address gaps as well as the impact of Software Change Requests (SCR), production fixes, new DAI versions or application upgrades such as future Oracle Releases or patches. • Assist with development and management of Agency specific plans and milestones to include DTRA's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) • Report on the program's status, risks and issues • Assist with role mapping, user management, and workflow • Develop Agency test plans, test materials (scenarios, scripts) • Participate in design reviews and testing • Assist with development of cutover plans for new releases

Required Qualifications

* Advanced degree (MA/MS) in an Information Technology (IT) related discipline• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing software development projects. • Experience with DoD Financial Management Systems/Defense Acquisition Initiative (DAI)• Detailed knowledge of interactions of systems and tools within a systems environment• Demonstrated project management experience • Demonstrated relevant knowledge of software development for tools leveraging JAVA script programming; extensive SharePoint knowledge; database and query technology and Structure Query Language (SQL) experience. • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining the integrated master plan and any supporting plan of action and milestones.

Preferred Qualifications

* IT-related certifications: e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Oracle Financial Management Certifications, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
