Basic Function:

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting the Financial Systems Manager in supporting, enhancing, and the continuing development of our ERP system (Host Analytics), and to assist with the administration and maintenance of all financial related systems, including Abila MIP, SAP Concur, Paylocity and other systems as added. Solid business acumen, a keen sense of how technology can improve reporting and analysis, strong results orientation, and exceptional communication skills are a must, as is an ability to work enthusiastically in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Act as the secondary point of contact for Host Analytics system, supporting The Office of Financial Operations team, managing enhancement requests, and basic system administration.
* Maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with Office of Financial Operations, ITS, and users of financial systems.
* Provide accurate and timely responses to users' questions or issues with financial systems.
* Ensuring continuity of current systems, while recommending improvements/new solutions concurrent with Institutes growth.
* Works closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to investigate, analyze and resolve system issues encountered by users.
* Flexibility to work on special projects and unexpected assignments while completing routine tasks on a timely basis.
* Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Principal Interactions:

The Financial Systems Analyst will work closely with the Financial Systems Manager and financial systems' users. Position also serves as secondary liaison with Host Analytics and third-party vendors associated with financial systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business/Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience in Business Systems support;
* 1 to 2 years Financial/ERP Systems Analyst experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Advanced skills and knowledge of Excel with pivot tables, reporting, nested formulas are essential.
* Extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

Travel:

Travel to all Aspen locations is required possibly quarterly. Aspen offices are located in DC, MD, NYC and Aspen, CO.
