Finance Solution Architect - Workday

Job Description Summary

The Workday Finance Solution Architect will manage system configuration, design, and support activities related to all Workday Finance modules at Cushman & Wakefield. This role will be responsible for the oversight of finance activities to ensure that Workday Finance design and configuration supports the priorities laid out by Finance Leadership. Partnering with Finance and HR centers of excellence, this role & supporting team will maintain and deliver continuous enhancements to WD Finance system functionality in line with the product's development and company strategy.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assessing system functionality and actively overseeing the entire project life cycle: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment
* Recommending process improvements and innovative solutions
* Serving as a finance systems liaison with business partners, GTS, Finance, and other regional stakeholders regarding process design, data integrity, and security requirements
* Facilitating Release, Upgrade and Change Request activities for the region
* Ensuring that regional project and BAU support processes follow the appropriate internal governance structure
* Helping to drive platform optimization / new functionality adoption analysis
* Serving as an WD Finance Systems lead for regional systems & other projects, consulting on Finance technology requirements & design
* Advising on reporting strategy and toolsets
* Assisting with vendor relationship management

Knowledge & Experience:

* At least 2 years of experience of configuration and / or operational Workday business processes including notifications, security policies, routing and condition rules
* WD implementation experience in large enterprise is a plus
* Previous experience of working with other finance systems
* Previous experience of deployment or supporting internal clients on finance systems
* Experience building custom Workday reports and calculated fields
* Working knowledge of Workday Security Model
* Experience managing a small team is a plus
