Job Description

Role Purpose:

As a key member of the Treasury Transformation Project (TTP) team, you will manage the project implementation. Drive the completion of project deliverables, manage UAT and deliver the change management process.

The TTP will deliver a highly integrated Treasury Systems architecture to support the treasury and finance function in the Asia Pacific region

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Regional Head of Treasury Transformation, APAC

This is a contract position, initially for 12 months

Travel within the APAC region may be required.


Your primary responsibility will be to manage the implementation of the Treasury Transformation Project. You will be a 'Business' Project Manager, responsible for ensuring that all required functionality and controls are tested and delivered.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

* Identifying project tasks and managing these through the development of a project plan
* Understanding the scope of the business requirements and managing dependencies
* Managing relationships with the key project stakeholders
* Working closely with the business and IT teams to ensure plans are aligned
* Regular project reporting, including task status, risks and issues
* Managing the overall UAT for the project
* Defining the post implementation support processes
* Delivering a change management framework, including the documentation of new processes

Experience & Skills Required:

* Degree educated
* Minimum 5 years Financial Services or Insurance experience within a similar capacity

In addition to proven experience in a related position, you will be able to demonstrate:

* Strong Project management skills and broad experience in managing teams across different work streams
* Experience with a large scale financial systems implementation, across geographies and multiple business units
* Detailed knowledge of key project phases including requirements gathering, testing and implementation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and deliver to tight timelines
