We are looking for a Senior Project Launch Analyst to join our DCCS Financial Operational Excellence team. The team's primary mission is to drive financial operational excellence through a culture of continuous inspection in our processes, systems and key business initiatives. In this position, you will partner with digital businesses and assist in launching their projects with the highest level of controllership. You will ensure the necessary control elements are identified and incorporated into the systems or tools that are developed to support new business activities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, manage through ambiguity and complexity and support multiple, simultaneous project launches.
Successful candidates for this position will have the equivalent of 6+ years of professional experience with financial processes, project management and process design. This position is expected to have a strong sense of ownership as well as the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive positive change across the multiple organizations.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and assisting digital project launch teams with the design of new products or offerings and the set-up of financial systems to ensure appropriate business support and controllership for digital royalties. * Defining controls and processes for new businesses and drive best practices. * Guiding process owners on design and implementation of internal controls. * Evaluating processes and identify areas for improvement. * Analyzing and assessing systems for IT application controls. * Reviewing project launches and developing SOPs to ensure we have a strong content provider audit trail. * Leveraging internal tools and processes to track and report status to leadership. * Evaluating lessons learned post-launch to help drive process improvements. * Building training material to be delivered to key stakeholders.
You must be able to understand complex business processes and technology. You should be comfortable interacting with software development engineers. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to Accounting, Finance, business and IT leadership.
