Job Description

Must have prior experience as an FSE and must be capable of performing analysis of system operations and have knowledge/experience in the utilization of operating systems and database management systems. Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices. Must be capable of routine system maintenance and administrative functions including: system configuration and modifications; adding, removing and replacing hardware and software items; system startup, shut down, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user access control. Must have a substantial background in communications and communications connectivity. Additionally, Regional Manager is responsible for geographical region operational management and execution of specific resources/budgets. Must be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the task order.

Manages field operations for compliance with technical performance requirements, schedules, short and long term milestones and program budgets. Manages the operational day-to-day field engineering support providing solutions to software and hardware related problems. Prioritizes, assigns, and tracks scheduled regional tasks and events. Coordinates with external customers on overall program status. Assists Program Manager in directing all aspects of the program.

* Within the region, responsible for daily Field Support Engineer activities, staffing surge requirements, tracking exercises and operations of assigned units and for daily reporting of supported system, software and personnel status.
* Maintains FSE focus on normal day to day maintenance and upkeep of all supported systems.
* Manages and submits required deliverables.
* Maintains personnel accountability via daily status reports.
* Responds to all queries generated by the customer. Investigates and provides proper responses and facilitates coordination for requests for information.
* Ensures daily activities and issues with corrective actions are being reported via the designated method of submission.
