Job Description

The Field Service Rep will be responsible for providing New Equipment Training for the Smart Display, vehicle PDU, RPCU, BFT and Communication Packages/Suites as such will be trained to have in-depth operational knowledge on these systems. We are looking for a self-starter Field service technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases brand image.

Essential Job Functions:

Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.

Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the systems described in the Role of the Position. This includes Cable problems, radio programming and basic trouble shooting, resolving CAN interface issues, and verifying Ethernet connectivity via the vehicle maintenance port.

Responsibilities:

* Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions


* Produce timely and detailed service reports


* Document processes


* Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems


* Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols


* Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization


* Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings


* Build positive relationships with customers



Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience or AS or Tech School and 5 years of experience.

Must possess a DOD Secret clearance.

Familiar with cable build processes, 1-wire diagrams, level 2+ cable drawings, vehicle component and cable installs, 25U radio experience.
