About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will guide and assist account teams within the New York territory in building solutions to address specific customer security needs. In this position, you will work with technology experts to help them position SecurityScorecard's security solutions effectively against competing offerings.

For success in this role, you will need to understand business requirements for your customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements. Equally important, you will need to develop a deep understanding of SecurityScorecard's architecture and services, and effectively communicate how it can provide effective technical solutions.

This role is remote, and you will be based in your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the domain expert on SecurityScorecard solutions
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services
  • Maintain area or operation responsibilities for selected major account opportunities
  • Maintain product roadmaps and alignment between the customer and relevant business entities
  • Provide specific solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for major potential accounts
  • Devise, present and document technical solutions
  • Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects

Apply if the following sounds mostly like you!

  • Minimum 3+ years of technical sales or pre-sales experience within CyberSecurity market
  • Industry recognized certifications such as a CISSP, GIAC, etc. a plus
  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated self starter that works well independently
