The AWS Cloud Security Architect will ensure that all aspects of the program's cloud deployment comply with the organization's security guidelines. Expertise with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is required and is the most important skillset for this position. Expectations for the role include both hands-on security administration (to include cloud user provisioning, cloud service provisioning, along with applying appropriate security principles such as least privilege), as well as creating security policies and documentation. The AWS Cloud Security Architect should be intimately familiar with the organization's Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) and Cloud Security Requirements Guide (SRG), as well as general Security practices. US Citizens only (no dual citizenship), and candidates must be local to the Washington DC area.
