We are seeking a Facility Manager to help us maintain compliance with NISPOM, RMF, and Department of Defense requirements for authorized Closed Areas and Secure Rooms. As a member of our team, you'll contribute to providing security and facility operations support for our secured areas. You'll join a hardworking team of Facility Security Officers, Department Security Representatives, Program Managers, and Information Systems Security Officers. Our team is committed to protecting the Air and Missile Defense Sector's technology infrastructure. We strive to cultivate an environment of situational awareness of all programs using the facility.

As a Facility Manager...

* Your primary responsibility will be to maintain DOD security procedures and JHU/APL security policies and procedures and report any and all security issues that arise within the Closed Area to the ISSO, to include but not limited to Violations and Infractions.
* You will oversee and maintain the general housekeeping and security of the Closed Area daily.
* You will maintain a signed acknowledgement form of the SOP requirements for each staff member with access to the facility as well as Closed Area documentation, and post on the back of the entrance door.
* You will ensure tasking for the relocation of mobile systems and ensure the completeness and timeliness of these duties
* You will develop written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the protection of the classified material within the Open Storage facility
* You will adhere to open storage requirements and restrictions as spelled out in the SOP and DSS approval letter.
* You will provide security education to all staff within the Closed Area when access is first granted and on an annual refresher basis.
* You will assist FSO, as necessary, in conducting the annual In-House Review and annual DSS Assessment.
* Ensure all visitors to the Closed Area are properly escorted, and a sanitization of the area occurs to ensure visitors have no visual access to classified material.
* Notify the ISSO and/or Physical Security (ZPH) anytime ITSD or FMD conducts work in the Closed Area that may affect the physical integrity of the room.
* You will perform periodic inventory of computer, servers, and Network equipment.
* You will manage systems procurement to ROD lifecycle.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

* Posses a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
* Have 5 years of related professional experience in a security-related role
* Demonstrable experience and pertinent knowledge in supporting Classified Operations, to include facilities, PCs, Laptops and mobile devices as well as DoD security requirements
* Excellent organizational and communications skills (both oral and written)
* Ought to be able to effectively work with all levels of staff, contractors and sponsors in both classified and unclassified areas
* Capable of providing strong analysis and follow-through to provide recommendations on security related procedures
* Self-starter, able to organize, priorities and handle multiple/changing tasks at a time
* Hold an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

* Knowledge and experience with Intelligence Community Special Security processes and procedures.
* Experience in the development and implementation of security related training programs.
* Prior experience supporting ISSO functions.
* Experience with SIMS and/or JPAS.
* Leadership experience on teams and/or projects.
* Professional security certifications.
