The selected candidate will serve as a Subsystem Subject Matter Expert within the F-35 Test Systems IPT. The Subsystem SMEs (S-SME) will be accountable to the Test Systems Sr Manager, will support the Test Systems Product and Technical Leads, and will be responsible for the test systems supporting production and repair for a collection of line replaceable components.

The S-SME will provide support, coordination, and technical expertise for development, delivery, and sustainment of test system hardware and software. Working with test system suppliers and other IPT personnel, the S-SME will ensure test system capability meets requirements and provides the correct and sufficient capability, at the right time, to support Program needs.

Specific tasks include developing and maintaining subsystem configuration and performance baselines, monitoring and reporting on test systems health and status, and supporting system development, acquisition, and sustainment. Additionally, the S-SME will support capacity analysis and trade studies, configuration management and change control, and management of obsolescence and redesign. The S-SME will interface with the customer, suppliers, Military Service Depots, Design and Sustainment IPTs, Product Lifecycle Managers, Sustainment Lifecycle Managers, SCM, and Quality Assurance.

Secret, with an investigation in the last 5 years

Basic Qualifications

* Systems Engineering/Design experience
* Experience with change management processes
* Experience with Microsoft Office
