Overview:
Executive IT Support Technician will provide day-to-day white glove process and technical support for Senior Executives and their Administrative Assistants in our Dallas based headquarters. This role requires a very high level of technical proficiency and requires an individual with executive presence and strong communication skills. The VIP support team member must quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve issues related to PCs, mobile devices, printers, videoconferencing, Skype, business application software, telecommunication issues, local network issues, and anything in between. This role is very highly visible with our VIPs / Top executives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role will interface with executive personnel daily and will perform general IT maintenance tasks, resolving moderate to complex problems immediately; if needed, more complex IT issues will be coordinated with other Jacobs IT functional groups and tracked through resolution with Service Now. As needed, the team member will also recommend hardware and software solutions, including upgrades. Responsible for installing and testing PCs, solving performance issues, diagnosing hardware or software related problems, repair PC in offices (local and remote). The team member will support executive level conferences and events at the Dallas headquarters location as well as occasional offsite events (i.e. board meetings, earnings calls, leadership meetings, etc.). The team member will be at the front line of corporate technology implementations, learning the new technologies, preparing the executive team for use and supporting the technologies. This position will require the ability to multi-task, manage time, and follow through with assignments and projects quickly. This role must also maintain confidentiality and privacy in all dealings with executives.
Other Responsibilities:
Provide support for all the Corporate groups in Dallas (floor 36) - Accounting and Finance, IT, Legal, HR, Treasury
Provide IT PM support for Dallas projects (office expansions, configuration changes, technology upgrades, etc) Some examples are additions in CEO office, new floor openings, video conferencing upgrades. This includes working with facilities, local management, mobilization group, doing CER's, getting PO's done, etc.
Provide support for our "special projects" floor and consultants (15th floor). IMO, SMO, etc.
Knowledge of Audio Visual functionality and knowledge of Cisco video conferencing. Knowledge of how to troubleshoot and fix issues in these systems on the spot. Knowing who to call if local issues can't be resolved with these systems is critical.
* Must be located in the Dallas, Texas office.
* Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasionally nights and weekends. At least 6 years of related IT experience.
* BS/MS in IS-related discipline or combination of technical training, certifications, and experience
