Job Description

The Product Development team is looking for a Senior Product Specialist or Associate Product Manager to help with enhancement, operation, and support of the Exchange DataFeed product line. This new role is being added because of success of our new Broadcast DataFeed clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing highly visible client integrations.

The Exchange DataFeed product delivers streaming real time or delayed exchange data to clients via a proprietary API. Another product in the line allows Snapshot exchange data requests over the Internet as part of OnDemand. Clients will use these products via third party applications such as Order Management Systems (OMS) or their own internally built applications.

As a Senior Product Specialist or Associate Product Manager, you will become an expert in the Exchange DataFeed product line and its supporting technologies. You will work closely with a broadly distributed group of engineers, strategy, salespeople, support specialists, data content analysts, and quality assurance personnel. You will receive a cross-section of exposure to our products, support, and development processes with the goal of progressing along either a Product Management or Product Architecture track.

Development Responsibilities:

* Develop product specifications to translate the business needs into tasks for engineering
* Work with engineers to fix bugs, test enhancements, and manage releases and client migrations
* Work with QA to build out test cases for new features
* Work with Strategy and Implementation to help define the services we need
* Work with other business units to help define the standards across services
* Document new releases and update training and marketing materials to communicate application features and benefits

Support Responsibilities:

* Research and prioritize questions, bugs, and enhancement requests that come through RPD's or Issue Trackers
* Communicate with the support team regularly to gather feedback on client issues and activity
* Perform operational tasks including initial client setup, Notify announcements, and account maintenance
* Help specialists and sales with client-specific issues or questions
* Support our third party exchange DataFeed integrations

Job Requirements:

* Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
* FactSet Consulting or equivalent experience, emphasizing one or more of the following areas: investment related data; formula based analytic applications; data warehousing; or content oriented software systems
* Software development and data analysis skills
* Minimum 2 years work experience

* Experience with exchange data and other contributed data available via the FactSet Ticker Plant
* Strong organizational skills are needed to juggle multiple tasks
