Experience with: DataStage Ver. 11.5 , Oracle 12c, RHEL 7, Linux Server 7.2,Unix shell, and Python scripting SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, Erwin Data Modeler, Visio Professional Flow Chart and Diagram, MS access, Excel spreadsheet, Adobe Forms Qualifications: Around 7-9years systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects using DataStage Hands-on experience with ETL (DataStage Ver. 11.5) Hands-on experience on Unix and Shell and Python scripting Hands on experience onOracle and Stored procedure and packages Scheduling tool experience DataStage ETL Administrator (including SW installation, upgrade, and patches) experience in RHEL/Linux/Unix environment Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret business requirements/ workflows Perform detailed design, development, unit testing and deployment for medium to large size projects including ETL, data marts, OLAP and reports Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices Create quality documentations (Design, Unit test plans, Operations Guide) Understanding business view of information and identifying disparate data sources Data analysis and profiling providing feedback to transactional systems development team on potential data quality issues Creating and programming database objects, ETL scripts, and reporting objects Assist others on issues, critical situations to meet project objectives Other Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology (processes, and deliverables), Change & Release Management processes and procedures, and can work with the process and application teams to identify and resolve the gaps concerning software quality issues. Able to work in a variety of programming languages and software packages that the Government utilizes. Exposure to multiple open source application implementations. Demonstrated experience with analyzing and deconstructing requirements to properly action design changes through the SDLC. Experience working with Developers and other development and PMO Teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Ability to negotiate and convince participants in team meetings with IT staff as well as business users through effective presentations. Ability to participate in all phases and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications on time and within budget. Mentor/coach junior staff. Highly motivated and detail oriented. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders. Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources. Stays abreast of the development in area of professional competence.
