01 The Job You are an ETL Developer with strong technical proficiency in SQL development who can plug-in quickly and make key contributions to our high performing 6-person enterprise data warehouse (EDW) team that serves as the central data hub for the organization. The team includes a business analyst who together with the senior team leader serve as a bridge between the internal customers and the work, so you can keep your primary focus on the technical solutions. The nature of the work will call on you to take a design from the data architect and be inspired to turn it into a working solution using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The end result will lend valuable historical insight into how our fundraising efforts are performing in the marketplace. Our team of ETL developers extracts and combines data from our enterprise source systems that originates from platforms such as Microsoft CRM, NetSuite, and Adobe Campaigns in support of business units such as Planning Analysis & Reporting, Donor Insights, and Prospect Development. All contributing towards everyone here at World Vision USA working from a single source of truth that positions our marketing teams to deliver excellent donor experiences that inspire giving. It's important work with meaningful impact. Is it calling you?

02 What success looks like You actively participate and contribute to taking designs and turning them into working solutions for our internal clients. The code you deliver has been tested well. Roadblocks naturally happen but you are resourceful and adept at finding a workaround or escalating any blockers to keep yourself and the team on-track and moving forward. It's a cliché but teamwork makes the dreamwork so you are found to be consistently participating and contributing to team design sessions. The same old thing isn't always best so you bring a rigor and willingness to challenge a past design by contributing ideas to the conversation that could make it better but ultimately in the end you support the decision of the larger team and work towards the collective goal set. Your individual and team contributions helps us reduce our backlog of commitments and level-up our service to the organization.
