Responsibilities

* Extract, transorm, and load data from multiple systems onto a SQL Server platform, and provides further research into data.
* Develop enhancements to the reporting systems used by the firm. This includes, but is not limited to: the development of data warehousing architecture, custom level queries, reports and actual system development work as needed.
* Interpret business objectives and needs, assess alternatives and provide innovative solutions using project management methodologies, including concept, design, budget, implementation, testing, documentation, and training phases.
* Research new technologies and applications that can improve the quality, performance or functionality of reporting applications used firm-wide.
* Troubleshooting and resolution of data issues.
* Provide second level support for STAR (Time & Billing System) and other data intensive web applications.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as business, finance, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
* Use effective time management with appropriate prioritization to ensure all assigned responsibilities are executed on time and with the quality expected; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* ETL development on SQL Server platform; Ability to work with external resources/systems to facilitate the extraction and delivery of data.
* Data warehousing development to ingegrate data from multiple systems for reporting purposes.
* Motivated to continuously improve data processing and reporting systems.
* Experience with analyzing and integrating data in a SQL Server environment; Developing stored procedures, views, and data cubes.
* Strong data analysis skills; including investigating data anaomalles.
* Required skills: T-SQL, C#/VB (or equivelant), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Preferred skills: Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Power Shell.
