Job Description

Amazon's Employee Services Technology (ES Tech) team is building a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution to support the delivery of HR services. We are onboarding new programs across the globe onto this platform. ES Tech will enable the automation of processes that are currently manual in order to gain efficiencies and to reduce errors. We will implement the RPA solutions by integrating it with other Amazon systems and platforms like Amazon's HR Management System (HRMS), time tracking system, and content management system (CMS).

The Amazon ES Tech team is looking for a Program Manager to align the customers' vision to technical solutions and help define program and project strategies using RPA and other technologies. The person will manage the implementation of multiple projects, making sure customer goals and requirements are met in a timely fashion, with quality, also ensuring that solutions delivered are scalable, extensible, and maintainable.

The Program Manager will interact with product management, business analysts, partner teams, developers, and leadership to deliver complex projects and programs. The person will need to anticipate bottlenecks, foresee and make tradeoffs, negotiate where appropriate, and provide escalation management, if necessary. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle as well as an understanding of agile software development methodologies. Sound business decisions will be informed by an understanding of technical issues involved, including difficulties and constraints. The candidate will use appropriate software engineering practices to balance aggressive timelines with quality of deliveries.

Responsibilities

* Lead planning, execution, and delivery of individual projects.
* · Partner with system integrators, administrators, developers, architects and QA engineers to design, build, and implement enterprise RPA solutions.
* · Work closely with product owners and BA teams to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical constraints.
* · Provide expertise on capacity management, level-of-effort estimation, task tracking and assignment.
* · Collaborate with partner teams to define deliverables and accompanying documentation for projects.
* · Work with a cross-functional scrum teams to deliver projects in iterative release cycles.
* · Identify, track and mitigate issues, risks, roadblocks and escalations at multiple levels.
* · Create and maintain and communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders.
