We provide innovative financial solutions through our Private Client Services, Capital Markets and Clearing & Execution divisions. We are seeking a Helpdesk/Desktop Support Technician for our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Handle in-bound helpdesk calls from within the San Francisco office as well as our Los Angeles headquarters, remote offices, correspondent firms, end users and clients * Resolve customer issues by applying advanced techniques to identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide solutions related to application usability * Configure devices, drivers, and network printers * Install operating systems and business applications * Complete troubleshooting tickets to upkeep helpdesk documentation * Assist in the installation and configuration of desktop and laptop hardware and software * Participate in IT projects, other duties and special projects as assigned
Experience and Skills
* BA/BS degree highly preferred * Financial service industry helpdesk/desktop support a plus * Advance PC hardware and software skills * Proficient at installation, build, upgrade and troubleshooting with PC hardware, software, printer and network related issues * Knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 OS and MS Office product (installation and advanced troubleshooting) * Moderate network router and switch skills * Knowledge of network protocol and topology such as but not limited to IP, TCI/IP, BGP, VoIP, Cisco, FortiNet, VPN, MPLS, DIA and etc * Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to communicate effectively and with all levels of corporate personnel and management * Must be a highly resourceful and effective IT problem-solver * Highly responsive and dedicated to providing excellent customer service * Phone or call center experience a plus
