Implements and maintains EHR systems and database to ensure optimum performance that leads to exceptional outcomes for employees and patients. Manages complex Information Systems project/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System's business needs using the EHR. Serves as a technical expert for their certifications. Guides and develops standards for technical practice in assigned application specialty.

Requirements

Experience: Three to five years as systems analyst or equivalent experience. Certification in Epic Willow Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, Ambulatory, Beacon or applicable applications. Extensive pharmacy experience in process flow and operations.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy

Training: Experience in the support of medication management in EpicCare EMR. Experienced in integrating pharmacy automation systems with Epic.

Certification: Willow Inpatient or Willow Ambulatory Certification/ Proficiency

Licensure: Licensure as required by the state in area of practice or reciprocity within one year of hire.

Special Skills: Project Management, and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
