Summary of Essential Job Duties:
* Application implementation lead: Leads vertical customers and consensus building activities of end users, operational leaders, physicians and designated staff for the purpose of end-user application implementation.
* Application domain (SME) lead: Leads horizontal customers/end users through consensus building across EIS functions to resolve major issues affecting all CS-Link (and other applications) teams. Helps set standards around domain expertise for all teams.
* Performs the larger, more complex and technical assignments/ projects
* Assigns and oversees the analysis, implementation and testing of updates, changes and maintenance to Epic modules and related applications. Ensures end-users/business owners are notified.
* Mentors, trains, and develops team members.
* Serves as the CS-Link expert to team members, other EIS personnel, and end-users/business owners on application integration and touch point areas.
* Participates in new employee interviews and the on-boarding process to retain new employees. May develop evaluation criteria for hiring new team members.
* Will assign configuration, build, testing, and 2nd-level support tasks.
* Will ensure all assignments and project work is completed and meets end-user/business owner needs.
* Oversees and facilitates the integration of end-user/business owner needs, and translates clinical/ operational needs and workflow into system specifications and configuration requirements.
* Provides highest-level expertise in design integration and touch points with other Epic modules and/or other applications.
* Serves as primary team liaison/interface with end-user/business owners and other EIS work teams.
* Manages team projects: translating customer needs, meeting deliverables, status reporting, and managing customer relationships and expectations.
* Coaches team members in application design build testing and other tasks; ensures adequate documentation is provided for support and end-user training.
* Based on day to day responsibilities of team members, will provide input to management on team members performance on an ongoing basis.
* As first line of support, identifies and works through team work issues. Escalates any issues to manager as needed.
* Will provide content and maintain application/system associated knowledge management documents (KMs) for troubleshooting and Helpdesk Services.
* May develop and maintain team on-call schedule, and provide 2nd-level support as appropriate on and off hours.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training is required.
Experience Required:
* Requires a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience working with healthcare information management systems and clinical operations.
* Requires previous experience in leading, supervising and developing a team.
* Must be Epic certified in relevant module.
* Strong project management experience required
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Exceptional skill in working independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
* Exceptional interpersonal skills including oral and written communications
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Exceptional critical thinking skills required
License/Cert Required:
* Certification in one/more EPIC Applications (Ambulatory, Orders, Clinical Documentation, Order Transmittal, Willow, Billing, HID, etc).
