A successful Epic Clarity/Caboodle Analytics Developer will have excellent critical and analytical thinking skills. They will be able to communicate effectively, work independently and have strong customer engagement abilities. The Developer will have a thorough understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and personal drive to develop technical skills of the team to improve system processes.

The Epic Clarity/Caboodle Analytics Developer creates moderately complex data warehouse and/or information delivery solutions, including data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation, across multiple domains. Performs root cause analysis for ETL job failures, complex data warehouse integration issues, and multi-layered analytic solutions. Consults with the business to define complex requirements across multiple data domains and business functions. Recommends and designs self-service analytic solutions.

This position will be at our newly designed, centrally San Diego located business services office, which offers an on-site café and gym. This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health's award winning benefit package along with relocation assistance to those that qualify.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

* Bachelor's degree or four years of experience as a Business Intelligence, Analytics or SQL Developer.
* Expert knowledge of multiple cross functional applications.
* Experience in SQL, ETL, data modeling and/or BI reporting technologies.

Required Certification/Registration:

* A current Epic Certification, preferably in Clarity and/or Caboodle.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

* Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle Certification.
* Data visualization (Tableau, SAP WebI, Microsoft Power BI) tool experience.
* Semantic layer (SAP universes, SSAS cubes) development experience.
* HANA model development experience.
* Four years of related experience working with Ambulatory or Inpatient applications.
* Experience leading small projects and technical activities.
* Master's degree.
