Job Description

We have the ability to hire either an Associate-, Mid-, or Senior-level Enterprise Systems Engineer.

 

Dart Container is looking for an Enterprise Systems Engineer to join our collaborative Enterprise Systems team within our IT department. In this role, you will assist in planning, designing, and implementing physical, virtual, and Cloud servers that are absolutely critical to our global organization.

 

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a flexible and team-oriented mindset and an itch to constantly look for new and better ways to do things. Some of the projects you will be working on will include assisting in our move to cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, and supporting our SAP infrastructure as we begin our journey with SAP HANA.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal Associate-Level Enterprise Systems Engineer must possess all of the following:

* Requires one of the following:
* Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study, OR
* High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of related IT work experience within the last five (5) years


* Experience within the last five (5) years managing a multi-server environment
* One (1) year of experience deploying operating system images on physical or virtual hardware
* Exposure to virtualization technologies like Vmware, Hyper-V, or KV 
* Up to 15% domestic and international travel

 

The ideal Mid-Level Enterprise Systems Engineer must possess all of the following:

* Requires one of the following:
* Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, or related field of study and three (3) years of related IT work experience within the last seven (7) years, OR
* High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of related IT work experience within the last seven (7) years


* Three (3) years of experience within the last five years managing a multi-server environment
* One (1) year of experience with VMWare administration and management
* Up to 15% domestic and international travel

 

The ideal Senior-Level Enterprise Systems Engineer must possess all of the following:

* Requires one of the following:
* Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, computer information systems or related field of study and five (5) years of systems engineer experience within the last seven (7) years , OR
* High school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of enterprise systems engineer experience within the last ten (10) years


* Experience within several disciplines such as server infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, networking, security, and storage
* Three (3) years of experience with Hypervisor Virtualization such as VMware ESXi or Microsoft HyperV to include experience building a virtual infrastructure
* Three (3) years of experience implementing and managing enterprise-class storage arrays, replication technologies, and associated connectivity
* Demonstrated hands-on experience with current Linux or Microsoft server technologies
* Up to 25% domestic and international travel

 

Additional requirements for all levels:

* Experience configuring server operating systems
* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
* Additional work hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call as required
