Under general supervision, performs administrative work assisting the ES department in support of the day to day activities. The ES intern will be responsible for assisting the organization in the implementation of a workstation replacement process. The ES Intern will have a hands-on role in the team's project and/or support activities. Reports to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Solutions.

In order to successfully perform the daily tasks of this position, the employee needs to be able to: lift and carry various objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds for a distance up to 10 feet; exert a pull/push force up to 25 pounds; and employ various static and dynamic postures such as standing, walking, forward and overhead reaching, handling (gripping & grasping), fingering, turning, talking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, peripheral and color vision, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, balancing, climbing ladder/stairs, and bending.
The City of Coppell Enterprise Solutions Intern performs essential job functions that occasionally involve tedious, exacting work, and require frequent changing of tasks and performing multiple tasks simultaneously under time pressures in a noisy, distracting environment. Essential job functions require frequent repetitive motion ability in order to operate a personal computer, 10-key calculator, fax machine, copier, multi-line telephone, and other office equipment. The Enterprise Solutions Intern must possess the ability to plan and prioritize work, effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals verbally, and in writing using the English language. Strong customer service skills are also necessary.
Employee must be at least 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and majoring in Computer Science, Industrial System Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.
