Enterprise Data Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Establish a holistic approach through the data life cycle to support a large IT transformation across existing applications and environments. Define data architecture and data governance and develop data models for the establishment of an enterprise solution. Collaborate with the enterprise architect and Cloud architect to define data acquisition, access, analysis, and design and archive, recovery, and load strategy design and implementation throughout the transformation effort. Coordinate new data development, including ensuring consistency and integration with existing data structures. Map functions to data structures to develop executable models. Serve as a senior data architect for the program.

Basic Qualifications:

* 7+ years of experience in positions supporting business systems analysis, system development, or data mapping
* 3+ years of experience with developing data architecture products
* Experience with Cloud service models, including Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
* Knowledge of data science and data analytics
* Ability to develop executable data models that inform DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products
* Secret clearance
* BS degree in CS or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with custom or structured extract, transform, and load (ETL) design and implementation
* Experience with commercial Cloud service design and delivery
* Experience with DoDAF
* Experience with establishing data governance models
* Knowledge of DoD enterprise network environments
