OVERVIEW

The Enterprise Cloud and Hosting Architect at Kraft Heinz will have the accountability of both envisioning and delivering the transformation of our IT Hosting Function program on a global scale. The role of the Enterprise Cloud and Hosting Architect is to work closely with the other EA domains like applications, collaboration, network and security as well as with the global business stakeholders in multiple zones to identify, recommend, develop, and support cost-effective cloud and hosting solutions and technologies for all aspects of the organization. The Enterprise Cloud and Hosting Architect reports directly to the Chief enterprise architect and is part of the global Enterprise Architecture organization which is part of the broader Strategy & Architecture IT Organization at KRAFT Heinz.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of experience within an Enterprise Architecture / Hosting Strategy domains: Compute, Storage, Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Databases (MS SQL server, Oracle, HANA), Operating Systems, Virtualization, and Cloud.

3+ years of experience in leveraging cloud compute, hosting, and storage solutions such as Amazon, Google, Azure

3+ years of experience as solution architect for cloud hosting

Significant enterprise data center design, development, configuration, and implementation experience.

Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

Experience working with IT leadership to create technical strategies.

Executive-level interaction experience / comfort around senior leadership in advisory role preferred.

Applied knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methods, and tools.

Fully versed in hosting security principles and solution alternatives.

Applied knowledge of enterprise application delivery mechanisms and requirements.

Demonstrated history of successfully envisioned and delivered large-scale hosting merger / acquisition / divestiture scenarios.

Excellent time management, prioritization, communication, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the development of large distributed global hosting strategy, vision and roadmap including core/cloud and edge compute components, storage, databases, backup and recovery, DR, Virtualization that serves as foundation for ERP, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics Process Automation.

Communicate with global stakeholders at all levels to inform them of Hosting architecture strategies, roadmaps, status, and capacity planning.

Responsible for driving the value from existing assets, finding opportunities for sharing of technology and services, leveraging new and emerging technologies and services, defining transformation initiatives and building the maturity of Enterprise Architecture.

Establish global policy, process and procedure for Enterprise Architecture management practices.

Lead, guide, mentor, and coach peers on Hosting standards, implementation strategies, and best practices.

Review and approve design of the Hosting Architecture of current IT projects.

Ensure that appropriate architecture documentation exists, including standards, guidebooks, reference architecture and roadmaps.

Assume architecture leadership (as needed) for key Enterprise Programs (e.g. Cost Savings, Global Business Services, Mergers/Divestitures)

Partner with key solution/service/consulting vendors to align capability roadmaps and identify/pursue innovation opportunities.

Participation within collaborative Global Architecture Review Board forum to analyze and provide guidance on hosting impacts resulting from prospective enterprise initiatives.
