Job Summary
A leading provider of healthcare and social services for seniors is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (EA) to support the growth, and transformation of technology to meet the needs of our business. The EA will be responsible for leading the effort to develop, maintain, and evolve the EA program across the enterprise, as well as defining the approach for leading the effective integration of enterprise architecture blueprints with other related business and IT processes.
This role will combine many different skills and experiences to provide the "glue" that connects project and program strategies with business strategies, drivers and management priorities. This "glue" should result in a series of models or blueprints and roadmaps that, at a minimum, define and describe the architecture goals the organization is trying to achieve and the steps needed to fill identified gaps.

Functional Category: Strategize
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 10%
EA should ensure the enterprise strategy is understood and contributes to the creation of the strategy
Identify existing enterprise architecture artifacts across organization by working with IT leads and stakeholders
Review the existing enterprise and solution architecture and perform enterprise architecture gap analysis
Analyze the current business and IT environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
Support the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements
Analyze industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise's strategy and architecture requirements
Understand, advocate, and support the enterprise's business and IT strategies -participating in the strategy creation
Functional Category: Architect
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 25%
This process involves architecting the future state, understanding the current state, and then developing approaches to address the gaps between them.
Coordinate an balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture viewpoints
Select/define a framework for enterprise architecture
Develop enterprise architecture models, documentation and best practices
Defines and maintains standard templates that are used to describe the overall enterprise architecture including diagrams (process, data, logical, etc.), standard strategy and roadmap templates.
Works with technical teams to document the architectural requirements in EA blueprints with detailed technical architectural requirements that can be referenced when designing and implementing new technology solutions
Organize the enterprise architecture blueprints and documentation based on the chosen framework
Functional Category: Lead
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 25%
EA must lead the effort to positively influence change by championing support, evolving the enterprise architecture processes to deliver value and strengthening enterprise architecture capabilities within the enterprise.
Conduct enterprise architecture discovery sessions, workshops and white boarding sessions with key stakeholders to present architecture deliverables and obtain feedback
Serve as the point of contact for all things relating to EA
Lead the development of an roadmap for the enterprise architecture, based on business requirements and IT strategies
Oversee enterprise architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities
Provides ongoing advisement to the Project Management Office to ensure projects are leveraging EA requirements
Functional Category: Govern
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 15%
The EA should ensure the right structures are in place and engaged to support enterprise architecture decisions.
Identify organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture
Collaborate with program/project teams to adhere to, and reconcile solutions to the enterprise architecture
Organize and upload documents to a common repository
Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide solution decision making for the enterprise
Align the InnovAge architectural roadmap with key vendor roadmaps (such as Microsoft and critical business application vendors)
Functional Category: Communicate
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 25%
EAs are responsible for ensuring all aspects of the enterprise architecture are communicated effectively.
Inform stakeholders on enterprise architecture practices, frameworks and/or tools
Communicate the successes and business value of enterprise architecture to key stakeholders
Oversee the effective communication of all enterprise architecture artifacts
Participates in Change Management to ensure changes and new IT Services are in alignment with Enterprise Architecture requirements
Travel Requirements
Travel may be required to local PACE sites located in CA, NM, CO, VA and PA to meet with stakeholders and/or conduct workshops.

Job location is Denver, CO.
Must be open to relocation if not currently within driving distance to the Denver Metro area

REQUIRED
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field
Work Experience and Qualifications
Ten (10) years' IT systems design experience
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in multiple IT disciplines
Five (5) years of previous experience in enterprise architecture role
Experience deploying production IT services
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Strong experience working across organizational units and senior leadership to develop Enterprise Architecture diagrams
Ability to envision and run workshops, white boarding sessions and architecture reviews to align key stakeholders on architecture recommendations
Strong leadership skills
Excellent analytical and contextualization skills (e.g., ability to "connect the dots")
Experience assessing existing architectures and recommending "future state architecture" leveraging business and technical vision and goals and leading practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Excellent understanding of enterprise level systems, infrastructure, security and data architectures
Knowledge of all components of a holistic EA
Knowledge of process improvement
Familiarity with graphical modeling approaches and tools
The ability to balance the long-term (or "big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
The ability to translate business needs into EA requirements
The ability to estimate and articulate the impact of EA alternatives - both financial and nonfinancial
The ability to identify potentially relevant trends and emerging technologies, forecast their impact and utility, and act accordingly
Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business and technical architecture
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Computer Skills
Experience using standard project and business tools including- Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio etc.
Good experience with MS SharePoint
Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and tactfully present information to, and communicate with, co-workers, employees, and others.
