Job Description:

Experienced Project Manager must have a proven track record of success with Managing large scale complex project that involve multiple technology platforms and system integration points.

The Enterprise Applications Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating various small and large enterprise application projects. The focus is on Enterprise Asset Management and Building Information Modeling applications, so a strong functional IBM Maximo and Autodesk product background are required. Activities such as IT project management and controlling, writing application functional specifications and process and/or training documentation, and internal and external vendor interaction fall under the responsibilities. The position reports to the VP of Asset Management

This person must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the implementation of technology projects and utilizing a proven project management and software development methodology.

You must have experience in creating and presenting project-planning documents to customers and director-level management. You must also be able to manage large system implementations tactically as well as strategically and be able to effectively communicate issues to upper management.

You have a proven ability to succeed in a complex and cross-functional technology organization supporting a highly customer-focused environment, bringing a practical approach to the application of technology to the business.

You will have demonstrated a strong work ethic, coupled with a high degree of credibility and integrity in your past projects.

An outstanding candidate will have experience transitioning legacy transaction systems to web-enabled platforms. You should have demonstrated experience with business-to-technology analytical skills, and demonstrated process analysis and design.

You should have experience managing third-party relationships and producing positive, quantifiable value from the relationships.

Finally, the most outstanding candidate would have demonstrated successful project completions involving various complex technology platforms, infrastructure upgrades, and current technologies in the solution space.

Equivalent Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Construction or Enterprise Asset Management industry, technical leadership, functional leadership, and project management utilizing a proven methodology as well as the balance of the experience mentioned above.

This position will work out of our LA or Irvine California offices.

Responsibilities

* Project management experience
* Project management certification (PMI, scrum master)
* Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skillsets
* Establish effective working relationships directly with Microdesk's clients
* Experience with Business Process Re-Engineering and Business Process Management
* Ability to Facilitate redesign of current processes and data for best practices
* Document the agreements and process design.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
* Relational database experience (Oracle, SQL Server)

Qualifications

* Bachelors or higher degree in either Computer Science or Engineering Fields
* Minimum 5-year project management experience

Desirable Experience

* Must also have a good understanding of the functionally of Maximo Asset Management
* GIS experience (ESRI ArcGIS)
* Building Information Modeling (BIM) Development Process
* Functional experience with Autodesk's Revit
