Enterprise Applications Administrator
St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas welcomes applications for the position of Enterprise Applications Administrator (EAA). With a focus on supporting large applications such as CRM and ERP, the EAA is responsible for providing technical support for the analysis, development, installation, administration, and maintenance of mission critical enterprise systems, databases, integrations, and middleware. In the university environment, there are also many growth opportunities to expand personal skill sets into new areas. The EAA will join a collaborative team of developers, application administrators, database administrators, and product owners who work to provide robust and stable enterprise applications while constantly changing and evolving said apps, as well as new ones, to meet the needs of a vibrant and technologically savvy campus and community.
For consideration, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or other information technology field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Two years' experience administering a SQL-capable database, and in the use of SQL statements. Specific experience administering Microsoft SQL Server databases is a plus. Two years' experience administering large software applications with various operating systems. Experience as an application administrator of CRM software, such as Salesforce, is preferred. Experience with standard integration platforms, such as Dell Boomi, and REST APIs. Experience with administering Linux systems, including shell scripting, is a plus. Experience with automated system configuration is a plus. Experience with object-oriented programming is a plus. Experience working in higher education with an understanding of higher education business practices is a plus. Must possess the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check. .
