Job Description

General Statement of Duties

The role of this position is to provide support for student accounts and registrar operations which includes data quality assurance, troubleshooting, testing registration and billing system functions, data file loads, data and document processing, and business intelligence reporting. Duties performed require comfort with the use of technology and technical aptitude; strong verbal and written communication skills; a high degree of problem solving, analysis, and decision-making; an ability to prioritize competing priorities, and work autonomously while maintaining focus as an operations team member.

Duties and Responsibilities (E) Plan work and assist in determining work priorities based on student accounts and registrar operational calendar deadlines and special circumstances and reprioritize work when needed (E) Analyze and develop administrative support operations, methods and procedures to maintain flow of work and desirable levels of productivity, to include hiring and training of student workers and temporary workers during peak periods if needed (E) Assist with system set-up of registrar and student accounts systems for business continuity (E) Use technology to coordinate, analyze, and manage workflow. Monitors action items, projects, correspondence, and assignments. Creates and analyzes reports where needed using various system and business intelligence reporting tools (E) Conduct quality assurance audits; create and manage preventative measures and take corrective actions when needed. Assist with resolving issues related to batch processes and to data file exchanges (imports and exports) (E) Maintain a current working knowledge of methods and activities relevant to registrar, student accounts, and enrollment processing and stay abreast of best practices

(E) Interact with a variety of constituents in disseminating information and resolving issues. Follows-up and takes appropriate action

(E) Assist the associate director with managing and fulfilling day to day operational duties Assist with the supervision of subordinate full-time and part-time employees and coordinate scheduling and coverage Collaborate and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to support departmental marketing and communications production, including set-up, scheduling, and delivery of automated campaigns using the University's CRM and various information systems such as PeopleSoft ComGen and Student Activity Guides Assist with maintenance and testing of software bundle updates, patches, and fixes Assist with implementing new technology Champion and demonstrate client centered/customer centric work ethic and activities Serve on committees as assigned by the president; the executive vice president, assistant vice president for enrollment management; and/or the senior director of enrollment management operations Demonstrate sensitivity to students, faculty, and staff of varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability, sexual orientation and socioeconomic backgrounds Demonstrate sensitivity to students with a diversity of learning styles Regularly utilize reporting systems in support of student success Serve as a role model and mentor for students as appropriate Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in accounting, business, math, computer science, information systems, or marketing communications One to three years data processing and/or enterprise systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Experience with integrated student information systems for higher education Experience with billing and accounting systems Experience with document imaging Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, OnBase, and TouchNet Experience using report writing tools Experience conducting file loads, importing and exporting data, and troubleshooting
