Job Description

What will you be doing?

* Lead a team of Software Engineers focused on building our client facing products
* Drive the technical and organizational roadmap for the team
* Write exemplary code (Java and Python) and establish coding guidelines as well as best practices
* Evolve in an Agile environment, working closely with key stakeholders, business representatives and clients
* Develop a deep understanding of the sports sponsorship industry
* Hire and mentor a high-performing team of engineers
* Build applications used by a wide range of top Sports and eSports teams

What do you need?

* 6+ years of technical experience using backend technologies including broad, functional knowledge of common libraries and patterns
* 2+ years of experience as a technical leader
* Experienced with designing, developing and extending complex backend and data systems
* Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* Take initiatives and drive progress within the team
* Be familiar with REST APIs designs.
* A real passion for technology and software engineering. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys her/his work and takes pleasure in solving a difficult problem
* Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams

What would be a plus?

* Management experience
* Understanding of Javascript and ReactJS
* Being familiar with the AWS ecosystem
* Being startup minded
* Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs and communicating externally with partners or clients
* A passion for sports and/or esports
