Job Description

Description:This Lockheed Martin Aeronautics position involves design and development of Computer Aided Engineering software applications intended to revolutionize integrated vehicle design and analysis methods in order to grow future business opportunities and improve margin on contract performance. This position will be a team member on an Agile Scrum development team responsible for developing an airframe force management system. The applicant will develop engineering tool capabilities in modern object-oriented languages (JAVA and C++). Position will be a member of the Aeronautics Engineering and Technology Air Vehicle Systems Tools development team. The applicant will work with a team consisting of structural analysts skilled in software and systems development where job tasks are often shared and/or transferred between team members. The candidate will develop computerized, automated solutions that digitally transform structural analysis processes, enable digital-thread & digital-twin implementations, and leverage scalable cloud services.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related technical field.

* Object-oriented programming experience
