Job Duties and Responsibilities

Engineer I - Software Test sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO.

Design, develop, and execute detail-oriented test scripts and test cases based on product specifications; implement and manage manual and performance tests; certify that systems and software meet functional requirements; review and audit product requirements, specifications, designs, code, and test plans related to the SDLC; perform manual testing supplementary to automation.

Req's: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related and 2 years of experience in the job offered.

Requires 2 years of software testing and quality assurance experience in (may be obtained concurrently):

Receiver Set-Top Box (STB) quality assurance, including receiver STB functionality and behaviors.

Requirements gathering, creation and execution of test cases, and adhoc and exploratory testing.

Creation of test plans from scenarios, including conceptualization of functional requirements using Linux, Redhat, CA Rally, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, Catena, ALM, Mantis, AAA, Waterfall/Scaled Agile Framework, Python.

Drug screen and background check required.
