About Bae Systems
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking to fill a hardware/firmware/embedded software engineering opening. This position is typically an electrical/software/computer engineer with digital design and real time programming experience. The work load will be predominantly firmware but some tasking (10-15%) would be related embedded software.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing performance-critical custom hardware resources which utilize industry standard interfaces. Interfaces include but are not limited to PCIe Gen1/2/3, Ethernet at 10Mbps/100Mbps/1Gbps/10Gbps/100Gbps. Also included are technologies such as USB, SATA, Interlaken, etc…
The engineering team is located near Quantico, VA.
