Responsibilities

The Engineering Logistics Specialist II will be responsible for performing data analysis and logistics support for the Patriot Missile Support Center. This role requires minimal supervision and is an individual that will oversee the processing of maintenance and performance data from global locations. Travel to domestic and international site facilities for training and logistics support is required to include performing systems upgrades and troubleshooting software and database issues. This will require determine root cause analysis by working with Software Engineers and customers to resolve issues.

The position will require interfacing with internal and external customers to include gathering user and business requirements for improvements to applications and processes along with creating and presenting new opportunities for follow on tasking. Data assurance related tasks to support Reliability Engineering are required relative to maintenance events to include collecting and analyzing parametric test data, configuration as built/as maintained tracking, along with inspection data.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level government security clearance. Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain the level of clearance specified. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

* Knowledge of Database extractions (SQL) and a programming language i.e. Visual Basic.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills for customer presentations and training.
* Knowledge of Computer Information Systems and Databases.
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office toolset to include Excel and PowerPoint specifically.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in installing and resolving issues with computer applications to include knowledge of networking, computer hardware and software.
* Knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) or cyber security principals is desired.

Required Experience (including Major):

* Graduated May 2019 (or within the last 18 months) with a Masters of Science in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
