Summary:

Analog Devices needs an Automation Engineer as part of our Enterprise Client Engineering team. This role will focus on automation of application and OS delivery across PC, Mac, VDI and Mobile platforms. The person will be a key member of the core team focused on improving our employee experience using these platforms to be both productive and secure. We're looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can work independently, with other IT teams as well as key partners to ensure continued success.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Work closely with team lead to define, develop and test automated solutions to endpoint devices.


* Work closely with lead and business sponsors to define requirements for application deployments. Package, test and pilot automated software installs per requirements. Work with QA team and sponsors for UAT.


* Liaison with Operations group to transition ongoing deployments for support and monitoring.


* Maintain a good understanding of upcoming changes to platforms, OS upgrades, automation tools & industry best-practices.


* Level 3 escalation point to help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation.



Experience:

* Four-year IT or comparable degree preferred


* 3+ years of proven success in Desktop Engineering


* 3+ years of proven success in scripting, software packaging and automated client configurations


* Proficient in PowerShell, VB, MSI, C2R, Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, Core Networking


* Understanding of Operating System deployment automation in OSD, or SCCM Task Sequence.


* Strong documentation, presentation and process skills


* Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting techniques working independently or within team


* Strong verbal and written communication skills


* Microsoft client or Systems Management certifications a plus


* JAMF or JAMF/Intune management experience a plus



This position will require spending some time in our Norwood, MA location during the training period
