Embedded Linux Engineer

OVERVIEW

Parsons Cyber Operations is seeking Embedded Linux Engineers with experience in C/C++ development on Linux systems to join our team of exceptional individuals. Qualified engineers will be required to participate in an Agile Scrum development life cycle including design, peer review, test support, and documentation of software. Successful candidates must be creative, self-motivated, dedicated, and capable of operating in a quick-reaction development environment to solve complex problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Must have 5+ years programming development experience
* Experience working in a Linux command line environment
* Experience developing embedded C/C++ Linux applications
* Experience with BASH programming
* Understanding of network protocols
* Proof of US citizenship
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Strong ability to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and interaction with other team members
* Ability to communicate with technical team members, managers, and customers
* Experience using multithreaded and real-time programming techniques
* Knowledge of computer and network security practices
* Experience using virtualization technologies
