Job Description

Help anchor a team developing high performance mixed-signal audio processing ICs for the professional and consumer audio markets. Cirrus Logic's products span the entire audio signal chain, from capture to playback, providing innovative products for the world's top smartphones, tablets, digital headsets, wearables and emerging smart home applications.

Responsibilities

* You will be developing and implementing complex digital signal processing systems for consumer audio products in a team environment
* You will architect, develop, integrate and test embedded software in a regulated product development process
* You will be collaborating on software and architecture decisions
* Optimize firmware for test and production
* Support Real Time Operating Systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

* MSEE degree or similar with 3+ years of experience in real time embedded software development
* Digital audio signal processing and/or acoustics development for voice and real time audio applications
* Expertise in embedded C programming and knowledge of assembly and optimization
* Understand existing code base to integrate new features and enhance current feature set
* Proficient in signal processing concepts
* We are looking for a self-starter and highly motivated
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

* Prior experience in noise suppression, echo and noise cancellation, and/or beamforming
* Your experience with FPGA simulation and test will greatly improve the design process
* Familiarity with the silicon development and production cycle
* Experience in adaptive filter design.
* Board level bring ups to help hardware engineers characterize and debug software/hardware during new product introduction and manufacturing.
