Job Description:

Responsibilities:

* Uses standard desktop applications and other specialized Document Services applications, creates and/or revises work product using direct keyboard entry, scanner or electronic conversion methods of input; transcribes audio and digital dictation including deposition transcripts as required;
* Spell checks, proofreads and/or cross-checks documents to ensure accuracy and completeness;
* Using conversion applications, converts documents to and from the standard format for customers;
* Electronically transfers and receives documents to and from clients and customers;
* Participates in ongoing intra-department training in all Document Services applications in order to develop necessary specialized and advanced skills required to support the document service's needs;
* Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all records and files;
* Participates in departmental project teams; assists with various projects and initiatives as assigned;
* Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

* High School Degree or Equivalent
* Familiar with MS Office applications; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills
* Skilled in spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and proofreading;
* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments
* Use initiative and judgment to accomplish results
* Works well under pressure within established timeframe and quality standards;
* Customer service skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management
* Familiarity with legal terminology a +
* Prolonged sitting and computer use are required.
