Overview
East West Bank is seeking a Document Imaging Specialist I. The Document Imaging Specialist I is responsible for the maintenance of storing hard copy legal documents and conversion of hard copy paper documents to electronic files for all loan products. This position will oversee the organization of all incoming documents, document destruction and assist with loan sale and purchases. The position may require lifting of boxes and a short walk to the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
* Prepare documents for scanning and safekeeping of original documents * Scanning original loan documents and uploading to Image Repository system * Import electronic images from Commercial and Mortgage Loan Origination systems into Image Repository system * Upload electronic files received via email attachments as PDF or other format into the Image Repository system * Handling original loan documents for safekeeping warehouse, placing and removing from fire proof cabinets ensure a safe environment for custody of such documents * Handling Documents for Loan purchases, including providing inventory sheets, emails to purchaser, shipping and receiving original loan documents * Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Associate Degree preferred, or equivalent work related experience * Minimum 1 year of work experience preferably in Banking or document scanning industry * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast paced environment * Ability to build effective relationships as needed to effectively address issues and obstacles
