The Dispute Analysts I position is responsible for handling incoming chargebacks, reviewing documentation, performing research, entering re-presentments, and handling pre-arbitration cases on behalf of our clients for multiple networks on the acquirer side.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Print out and review daily incoming documentation in response to chargeback notifications * Review incoming journals and validate if the documentation supports filing a re-presentment with the networks * Review transaction to determine the appropriate network routing of the transaction and then ensure network re-presentment rules are met before submitting to the network for credit. * Perform any necessary research and look up specific transaction details that need to be included with the re-presentment case * Process re-presentments daily and within network timeframes * Research and process pre-arbitrations within network timeframes * Process Debit and Credit Adjustments to Cardholders as requested by terminal owners due to terminal out of balances, reversals, and also to resolve daily match and kill Settlement variances. * Keep up to date on industry information, system changes, network rules and compliance issues. * Respond to requests and maintain open communications between team, account managers and external customers. * Scan all documentation and archive in Chargeback folder daily to ensure the data and documentation is available for internal use * Assist other team members and perform other tasks within the department as required by management

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS
* 1-2 years of experience in chargeback processing preferred * Knowledge of Visa, MasterCard, STAR, ACCEL, AFFN, CU24, Shazam, NYCE, and Pulse networks chargeback rules and regulations * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to meet deadlines * Strong written and oral communication skills * Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel * Ability to work in an environment with daily changes * Ability to be self-motivated and quickly learn new procedures. * Excellent problem-solving skills * Must be able to work well with others, specifically with a team * Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required
