Insight Enterprises is looking for an onsite Disaster Recovery (DR) Specialist/ Technical PM. This individual will meet with the various Business Units (BU) and Stake holders to perform technical requirements gathering and relay them to the Infrastructure team(s). This individual will need good Management skills to be able to coordinate & work with the various customer BU's as well as good communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams. They need to be technical enough to understand various aspects of Infrastructure (Network, Compute, etc.) and be able to translate the Business needs into technical requirements that can be acted upon by the Infrastructure team(s).

Responsibilities:

* Meet with various Business Units to understand their use of technical infrastructure and applications.
* Translate this information into Infrastructure components and dependencies
* Combine the analyzed information into a comprehensive set of requirements and critical systems for Disaster Recovery planning
* Meet with the Infrastructure team(s) to review the requirements and ensure that the designed solution addresses the DR needs.

Qualifications:

* At least 3 years of technical experience working with Datacenter infrastructure in an Enterprise environment
* Comprehensive understanding of Datacenter Infrastructure (Networking, Compute, Storage, Backup, Virtualization, etc.)
* Strong understanding of application dependency mapping and how to document them
* Experience with Disaster Recovery testing either in a coordinator or technical hands-on capacity
* Good understanding of Change Management process
* Good understanding of RTO\RPO and how they relate to DR failover planning
* Must be able to work well independently
* Excellent communication skills
* Communicate in a positive upbeat manner both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work with multiple teams
* Fluent in English

Nice to have:

* Experience creating and validating DR Runbooks
* Participation in Datacenter failover testing or actual Datacenter failover
