We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Disaster Recovery Specialist - Senior to join our team in Washington, DC to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Duties: Performs day-to-day activities required to manage a DR program, such as designing and administrating a DR program to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery at HQ and regional Offices. Oversees and reviews the testing and implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems are adequately protected. Facilitates the preparation of an organization-wide business resumption plan. Assists in the coordination and establishment of disaster recovery programs and business resumption planning across all enterprise platforms. Coordinates and monitors simulation testing across all platforms. Designs and administers programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery. Manages the Agency's Emergency Notification System (ENS).

Requirements

Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience leading and managing large scale IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) programs. Must possess strong analytical, managerial, and organizational skills, and must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with multiple groups and organizations.
