Director, Platform & Delivery Management for Portals and Online Channels for Commercial & Transaction Banking-1901184

Description

The Director, Platform & Delivery Management for Portals and Online Channels for Commercial & Transaction Banking is responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping, and leading the vision and customer experience for all users. The incumbent manages the roadmap, delivery of new features, and operational excellence, for platforms. Additionally, s/he plays a vital role in establishing technology strategy and development of enterprise data platform for regulatory reporting across the organization. Plans and tests processes to ensure compliance with system requirements, business objectives, security standards and other technical requirements, such as incident management and infrastructure proven expertise.

Responsibilities:

* Aligns regulatory reporting technology strategy to enterprise data architecture principles and Front Line Unit authorized data source strategy


* Authors and drives feature specifications with the dedicated Engineering team


* Defines the customer journey and user experience and partner with our creative staff to deliver amazing designs


* Develops data architecture, integration, processing and controls best practices


* Establishing KPIs for the technology team and providing transparency through KPI measurement / reporting


* Hands-on creation of new feature prototypes


* Leads a team of architects, senior developers and domain SMEs to deliver regulatory reporting target outcomes leveraging agile methodology


* Manages the Roadmap for implementing new features for the Enterprise Platform


* Reviews, evaluates, and prioritizes new feature development requests from Clients, Sales, or Service teams



Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree; in computer science engineering or an equivalent discipline or equivalent work experience


* Master's Degree; in computer science engineering or an equivalent discipline, or equivalent work experience preferred


* 9-12 years' experience in IT Project Management, Development Team Management and/or Application Portfolio Management


* Budgeting and forecasting


* Demonstrated knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business


* Demonstrated knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations


* Demonstrated relationship management and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management


* Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures


* Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities


* Highly organized, self\-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team


* IT Effectiveness: application sourcing, technology strategy and planning


* Metrics knowledge


* Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed, Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments


* Quality management skills


* Strong program, project management, and leadership skills


* Strong reporting, decision making, analytical and problem solving skills


* Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
